THE NYRMA ALL-STARS TRIBUTE TO GRAM PARSONS Gram Parsons labeled his sound as "Cosmic American Music" and while his time was short, his shadow still looms large. As a member of the Byrds, he played a pivotal role in their "Sweetheart of The Rodeo" album before forming The Flying Burrito Brothers with fellow Byrd Chris Hillman. After being fired from The Flying Burrito Brothers, he released two solo albums where he was aided by Emmylou Harris before his tragic death at the age of 26 in 1973. He has been credited for helping to found both the country-rock and alt-country genres. The NYRMA All-Stars will pay tribute to Parsons by touching on all of recorded work. Scheduled to appear: Don Olsen, Dave Wise, Thomas Ryan, Mark Mancini, Jessica Upham, Terry Day, Russ Seeger, Pete Mancini, Steve Prisco, Gary Dawson, Claudia Jacobs, John Marino, Andrew Fortier, Brian Halverson, Raecine Coles, and Jenna Silverman-Salm.
THE BLUEBEATS Formed by Mike Drance in 1994, The Bluebeats recapture the sound of ska and rocksteady, creating a sound that is at the same time both classic and fresh. By combining strong vocals and rock-solid rhythms with original songs and Jamaican classics. For 2022, Drance is joined by original member Steve Prisco, long-time band members Alison Tramontana, Glen Hackett, Jason Hackett and "new guy" bassist Vinny Carriero.
ALLEN SANTORIELLO & THE PHANTOMS Allen Santoriello’s musical journey played his first gig at the age of 14 and it was the start of a life long passion and the beginning of a successful career in music. A familiar face on the tri-stage music scene, Allen has built a devoted fan base as the lead vocalist in such popular acts as Little Wilson, Cadillac Moon and The Walkers. In 2015 he released his first solo record “Pros & Cons” to enthusiastic reviews. Along with the Phantoms (NYRMA All-Stars Steve Kaplan, Mark Mancini, Howard Silverman and Dave Wise) he will be playing both his original songs as well as some popular favorites.
THE OTHER SHOE Let it drop on you! They take from all of their favorites, shake up the SHOE and throw it down. If you like Reggae, Folk, R&B, Singer Songwriter then you will dig this! Led by Joe Perricone and featuring NYMRA All-Stars Jim Treutlein and Maag Stanley, it's a big band - some nights we are eight, some nights less, some nights more; but it's always groovin' and people are movin'!
MIKE MEEHAN & THE LUCKY ONES Mike Meehan is an accomplished songwriter and musician. He has been a recording artist for Koch Records, Paradiddle and Louisiana Red Hot. He has released multiple albums as a founding member of roots rock group the Last Hombres (at one time recording and touring with drummer Levon Helm) as well as his own imprint the Lucky Ones. Hombre Mike's original songs are ragged Rock and Roll soundtracks and cautionary tales, influenced by traditional and alternative country, punk, folk and literature.
