The Patrick Duffy Band: Patrick Duffy is a New York City based guitarist, songwriter, and singer with a penchant for powerful, colorful, and abstract improvisation. His Seattle and 70’s nostalgic power trio has a subtle and nuanced mask. It is filled out by Steve Conroy, the versatile, up and coming NYC session and touring bassist who’s performed with over 70 groups, and drummer and percussionist Max Yassky, who has composed music for film, played with a wide range of bands, and toured internationally for over a decade. 

Smooch is an emerging soul/funk band based out of Westchester, NY. Led by the vocals and songwriting of Matt Crossett, Smooch formed out of the local Yorktown, NY scene in 2018 when the band Sticky Nonsense was formed by Mike Cesario as the house band at a local open mic. After playing together here, they started booking gigs and defining their sound in the process. After deciding to redefine this particular offshoot of Sticky Nonsense. Smooch was born and celebrated with their recently released first single “Something New” and its first EP of the same name on November 8th, 2019.   Mike Cesario - Drums; Matt Crossett - Vocals/Guitar; Jason Robins - Bass.

The Hideaways, a wild & loose proto-punk blues band always conjures up an atmosphere of Chuck Berry meets The Ramones with a side order of Blonde on Blonde Bob Dylan, continue their First Sat of the Month Residency at Charlotte’s Speakeasy in Farmingdale, NY.  For those who wish to attend and are not familiar with Charlotte’s Speakeasy: In keeping with the old-timey Speakeasy tradition, you will need to make a reservation, and you will need to grab the “password of the week” (which is available on the venue's website ) in order to get in. Doors open at 7pm, and it is suggested to come early, (and stay late of course.) The place is small and they only let 125 people in at a time.

Mark Newman Band: Growing up in New York, Mark Newman’s musical journey has taken him around the world several times as both sideman and singer/songwriter. This ace Stringsman (guitar, lap steel, mandolin, dobro) and accomplished songwriter is the type of singer whose warm and expressive voice sounds like an old friend. 

The Toby Tobias Ensemble: Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Toby has immersed himself in many genres of American Music while never leaving behind his roots in the rhythms and melodies of his homeland. His keen ear for intuitive arrangements is a hallmark of his writing and performance, and he has garnered a strong following on Long Island and in the tri-state area. 

The Dave Christian Project: Dave on guitars and vocals, Henry Goode on bass guitar and harmonies, Scott Fichera on the drums and Joe Silver on Keyboards. Performing the original music of Dave Christian. The band has been together since mid-2017 and has been performing for local audiences at venues and festivals ever since. They are currently in the process of recording “Paradigms”, intended to be the next full-length release by Dave and the first one from this band.

Kerry Kearney BandKerry Kearney (pronounced "Car-Nee"), a slide guitar master, plays and works his instrument to limits that amaze even the most seasoned musician or cultured music fan. The sounds Kerry creates from his vintage, stock and custom-made guitars are as unique as his song writing and original melodies. Kerry was voted "Best Guitarist of 1999" by the LI Voice and “Bluesman of the Year 2004” by the LI Blues Society. He is also the recipient of the prestigious Long Island Sound Award (L.I.S.A.) from the LI Music Hall of Fame and most recently, in 2013, he and his band mates were each inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame. He has toured nationally and internationally with the Allman Brothers Band and Dickey Betts, and has performed with such contemporaries as Sonny Landreth and Robert Randolf. Kerry and his band have shared the stage with the great BB King at the NYCB Westbury Theater and at the Paramount Theater in Huntington, NY, as well as Robert Cray with the Blind Boys of Alabama and The Blues Brothers starring Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi. 

Dave Diamond Band - With a style all their own, the Dave Diamond Band isn’t a derivative of any single genre. Rather, the songs reveal a wide range of influences — from indie rock to late 60s/early 70s Laurel Canyon inflections, from funk to doses of Latin and afro pop. And it’s all delivered in a natural mix of comfortable jams set in complex musical terrains. So, whether you’re a seasoned music aficionado or a frequent festival goer, there’s something for everyone in the Dave Diamond Band! 

Dave Christian Project - The Dave Christian Project is, Dave on guitars and vocals, Henry Goode on bass guitar and harmonies, Scott Fichera on the drums and Joe Silver on Keyboards. Performing the original music of Dave Christian. The band has been together since mid-2017 and has been performing for local audiences at venues and festivals ever since. They are currently in the process of recording “Paradigms”, intended to be the next full-length release by Dave and the first one from this band.

The OMC is a collective of well-established Long Island Original Bands working together to create a more productive, vibrant original music environment on Long Island. 

OBJECTIVE: Our mission and purpose are to create performance opportunities for original bands on Long Island. 

WHY: We feel there is a need for greater awareness and appreciation of quality original music, and to present this music to a wider audience. 

HOW: We intend to bring together high quality and established L.I. original bands to perform at reputable venues that are supporters of original music. By organizing these “showcase” events, we hope to impress an expectation of a fulfilling and memorable musical experience on fans and venues across Long Island.
